Over the years, DAVE BLACK has kept himself extremely busy performing in a wide range of musical genres spanning from Jazz to Blues to Rock to even Country & Folk.
He is co-founder of the St. Louis Jazz quartet, Brilliant Corners, and he has worked with various notables including Richard "Groove" Holmes, Bucky Pizzerelli, David Liebman, Fareed Haque, The Drifters, Little Anthony and the Imperials among others.
The new Wildstone Audio CD, DESTINATIONS, features a selection of Dave's latest compositions, ranging in style from jazz to funk to world beat.
St. Louis stalwart musicians Marc Torlina (bass) and Matt Kimmick (drums) are heard on all tracks, along with performances by saxophonist Paul DeMarinis, vibraphonist Tom Rickard and percussionist R. Scott Bryan on select tracks.
