Wildstone Audio is pleased to announce the release of The Kiss Principle, the premiere CD by St. Louis vocalist Beth Tuttle. The Kiss Principle (Keep It Simple Sweetheart) is an elegant collection of jazz favorites from the great American songbook including Sentimental JourneyAll of MeThey Can't Take That Away From Me, and What'll I Do?

Recorded in one night in the acoustic perfection of the Sheldon Concert Hall, the CD captures the improvisational essence of a live performance. The Beth Tuttle Trio features Bill Murphy on piano, Mike Tiefenbrun on bass and Beth Tuttle on vocals and percussion. Featured soloists recorded later in studio include St. Louis artists Sandy Weltman (harmonica on Lullaby of Birdland and As Time Goes By), Dave Black (guitar on Ain't Misbehavin' and In Your Eyes, a Beth Tuttle original), and Tom Zappe (saxophone on Georgia On My Mind).

Beth says: "I was striving to keep it simple—to achieve the spontaneous authenticity of a live performance while keeping the recording as simple as possible. This is how we sound; moments rough or polished, delicate or powerful, melancholy or joyful—like life itself. The skill and passion of the musicians convey all the love and truth in these songs."
